NIGHT NIGHT STORYTIME
A Mother's Love
For the love of God, stop crying!
I can't even remember why I'm trying.
I fed you, I changed you, I burped you, I sang to you,
And yet you keep on crying.
I beg you, PLEASE stop pooping!!!
I refuse to acknowledge the pooping.
I hated it before, and now even more,
I'm finished with diapers and pooping.
You must STOP biting my nipples.
They hurt even more than bad pimples.
They are only to feed you, NEVER to teeth you,
I'll quit if you keep biting my nipples.
Please don't interrupt my drinking.
I don't really care what you're thinking.
I'll pump and dump, don't judge your mom,
I need wine to stay sane, so I'm drinking.
Christ All Mighty, make my kid sleep!
All through the night if you please.
I'll pray and ask nicely, not trying to be feisty,
Just please, anything to make my kid sleep!
No, seriously, you have to stop growing.
If only the time would start slowing.
It's happening too fast, not going to last,
My heart is breaking because you're growing.
No, you can't go to school.
Being taught by your mom is cool.
I'll teach you about life, just don't leave my side.
I can't handle it if you leave for school.
Oh, great! I can't stop crying!
My child is beautiful and flying.
It happened too fast, now it's all in the past.
I'm so full of love that I'm crying.
Honey, should we have another?
It'll be fun to give the last one a brother.
I need another baby to keep from going crazy.
Motherhood has changed me like no other.
